About us

The Community Business Association (COBA) is a collective of established professionals from diverse sectors, who joined forces in 2023. Their shared objective was to establish a forum where all types of businesses in Harare West can connect at a yearly Business Expo. COBA firmly believes that this annual event can significantly contribute to the growth and success of these local businesses.

 

COBA provides a space that offers consistent professional assistance, enhanced visibility, and active engagement for all enterprises, whether large or small. The Business Expo draws inspiration from the accomplishments of major national trade exhibitions, such as the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) and the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF). These events have consistently proven their effectiveness in fostering corporate networking, trade partnerships, and broader economic development at a national scale.

 

COBA aims to replicate these proven strategies within Harare West, thereby catalysing comparable growth and expansion in the local economy. The Association is also committed to showcasing the community’s varied entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrating its capacity to be self-sufficient and flourish collectively.
